Our Philosophy

The practice of accounting technically encompasses the historical recording, summarizing, and analyzing of financial transactions which have occurred between two or more persons -- even when those persons represent non-personal entities.  It is our recognition of the fact that these transactions represent personal interactions which sets the theme of "person-to-person service" that permeates our firm.  Philosophically then, we perceive financial statements as the results of many personal interactions summarized in the generally accepted linguistic and numeric format of the accounting profession.

It is the person-to-person concept upon which the very foundation of our firm is based.  Every client, regardless of size, is special, and his needs and concerns are as important to us, as his professional accountants, as they are to him.

As a well-organized CPA firm serving many clients, we encounter and deal with countless equations.  The equation which remains most important to us is one which includes certain personal factors.  "To our clients' needs and personal well-being, we add our technical expertise, professionalism and deep personal concern for him -- this always equals a plus for both our clients and the firm."

The personal factor equation is adhered to in our firm because we believe the professional service, regardless of the profession, is personalized service.  While different members of our staff, with varying degrees of skill, experience, or areas of specialization, may work on an engagement, there is still one person accountable to our client -- a person who remains the firm's contact with that client.

Professionalism in the practice of accounting is essential; but, that alone, is not enough.  Our business requires that we understand our client's business, and with that understanding, approach our work in a professional manner.  This concept takes a special person-to-person attitude and a special approach to the practice of accounting.  We are among those professional accountants who are dedicated to the person-to-person approach in practicing our profession.
